Vicki met the Doctor and Ian/Barbara on a spacecraft heading for the planet Astra. Shei was one of two survivors when it crashed on the planet Dido. In the crew of the TARDIS she found the home and security she had lost, and the Doctor, missing Susan, took a liking to the impish 18-year old.

When the TARDIS arrived in ancient Troy, (The Myth Makers) she was hailed as a prophet, and under the name that the Trojans gave her - Cressida - and decided to stay behind with Trojan Prince Troilus to become his wife

Maureen attended her first convention in forty years this year, at the Dimensions 2005 event in Stockton
