Paul McGann became the Eighth Doctor, and has only appeared in the Fox TV Movie, But first impressions have been of a Time Lord who has a habit of guiding the future, has a more sexual side to him and another side which could be something completely different: "I'm half human, on my mother's side" he tells people in Enemy Within.
In 2001 he returned to the role as the Doctor in a series of Big Finish audio plays and in 2003 recorded Shada - the unmade Tom Baker episode for BBCi to mark the series 40th Anniversary
Paul and has recorded some new audios for Big Finish and is now going to conventions
