The Doctor and Romana arrive on Alzarius

A marshy, damp planet located in E-Space. The Alzarians, whose injuries could be healed in moments, believed that they had crash-landed there years ago. They lived in hope of returning to what they believed to be their home, Terradon. Alzarius was also home to the Marshmen, fiercesome reptiles which lived in the marshes, and the Marshspiders. In fact, the Alzarians were the Marshmen, in turn evolved from the Marshspiders, their whole life cycle being a massive seasonal change taking four thousand years. .
