Inhabitants of an unnamed hot planet, which was itself a living entity, attuned to the mental state of all those living on its surface.
The Cheetah People hunted individuals from alien planets for food. Often, their prey would be transformed to become part of the Cheetah People - planet organism.
As a result, the Cheetah People could use their senses to open dimensional cat-flaps to their respective planets of origin and return there to hunt for food or new recruits.
Eventually the Cheetah People's planet exploded when the Master and the Doctor, already infected and changing, fought. The Cheetah People escaped to various other planets, presumably to one day regroup elsewhere RELATED LINKS
