Appeared: The Moonbase, Revenge of the Cybermen
Small, metallic rodents utilised by the Cybermen to infiltrate small spaces and disrupt enemy forces. On Telos, they used Cybermats to attack the humans who sought to refreeze them in their tombs. On space station W3, the Cybermats were programmed to consume the bernalium that powered much of the station's machinery. They could also kill humans with concentrated bursts of electricity from their visual receptors. On board the space station, Nerva Beacon, Professor Kellman used Cybermats to spread, via injection, the Cybermen's plague that attacked the human nervous system.
