Extinct giant reptiles from Earth's prehistoric times, many were brought to contemporary London with the aid of a Time Scoop device created by Professor Whitaker, one of those behind Operation Golden Age. Dinosaurs were also kept in hibernation by the Silurians, who used an Allosaur-related dinosaur to guard their caves.
A Pleisosaurus was part of the collection in Vorg's Miniscope. The Rani had an embryonic Tyrannosaurus Rex foetus which was caught in time spillage and suddenly grew to threaten her and the Master in her TARDIS.
