Haemovores
Haemovores

Royal Beast and protector of the planet Peladon, Aggedor was a symbol of power as well as almost being regarded as a deity by the Pels.

Vampiric creatures created by the Ancient Haemovore. The Haemovores flourished in the industrial slime that destroyed an alternative Earth in the far future.

They were created when the Ancient Haemovore went back in time to follow the flask containing Fenric's life essence.

He created the Haemovores himself, thus creating his own future. However, when the Doctor convinced him that the future which spawned him need not occur, he psychically destroyed all the Haemovores (thereby destroying his own ancestors).

He then killed himself and Fenric by releasing the toxin that would cause the industrial slime, but in an enclosed space.
