Leader of an alien group that arrived on Earth around the time of its creation, preparing to catalogue everything they found there. Unable to cope with the pace at which life on Earth kept evolving, Light went to sleep.

It was brought to a large family house in West London and woken up towards the end of the nineteenth century when its two associates, Survey and Control fought amongst themselves to evolve.

Light decided Earth would be better off barren and desolate. However, the sheer magnitude of how much divergent life would have to be catalogued and then devolved was overwhelming and Light simply dispersed.
