| Story Synopsis The Master is apparently exterminated by the Daleks on Skaro, and the Doctor agrees to take his remains back to Galifrey in the TARDIS. The Master is not dead & has been transformed into a shapeless morphant creature. He causes the TARDIS to make an emergency landing on Earth in San Francisco, December 1999. The Doctor emerges from the ship & immediately takes gunshot wounds. He is accompanied by Chang Lee, to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Doctor Grace Halloway attempts to save his live, but this causes him to regenerate as she doesn't understand the principles of alien physiology. Later that day, the Master takes over the paramedic Bruce, who took the Doctor to hospital. This is a temporary replacement for the Master as he intends to steal the Doctors remaining lives. He manages to gain access to the TARDIS and lies to Chang Lee, thus having him on his side.
The Doctor meanwhile, manages to convince Grace that he is the same man who she tried to save on the operating table and that he is a timelord, and half-human (gained from his Mother). Together they try and work out a plan to stop the Master causing the Destruction of Earth at midnight 31st December 1999.
Their plan eventually succeeds and the Master gets sucked into the Eye of Harmony in the Cloister Room. The Doctor says goodbye to Grace & Chang Lee (who saw the error of his ways) and departs Earth in the TARDIS as they celebrate the new Millenium.

Notes
The title Enemy Within has never been used for this adventure. It is used here
to avoid confusion with other Doctor Who movies (either past or future). It was
suggested by Philip Segal that this title should be used if fans really wanted a
title.
